Pedro,
First, I would recommend you get signed up in our database! What have you done so far to get a job on the rigs? Where is your resume? Who have you applied with and what have the responses been?

Cpt Ron

Hi Capt Ron

It's Jason from Cape Town, South Africa.
I am not sure but I think I have been a member of Offshoreguides.com since last year.
I have completed the Offshore Survival, HUET, Offshore Fire fighting and First Aid at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology ( CPUT ) Survival Center in Granger Bay, Cape Town, South Africa.
Since I have been a member I sent my resume to all the companies on the Offshoreguides.com list and still haven't found employment on a rig.
The crude oil price is climbing and I would like to start gaining the vital experience.

I hope you can help, Capt Ron.

Sincerely
Jason Martin

Yes, you have been a member since April 2007. I checked your activity log and I see you have been busy  Wink

But (as an example) what I did find is that you applied on 6/29/2009 at the same company/person 4 times that day. This happened a few times as I can see. If you send your resume multiple times a day, and even every day, it's not a surprise they don't get back to you.

When looking at your resume... and I'm sorry to say this... but that looks terrible.  Embarrassed

Check out this example and rewrite your resume. If you can't, hire us to do it for you.
Example: http://www.offshoreguides.com/employees/resume_2332.asp

I hope this helps,

Andrew.
